Ducati Panigale V2 Shoot

I was asked a few weeks ago if I could shoot a friends new Ducati motorcycle. Carl just recently picked up a Ducati Panigale V2 after a long hiatus of being motorcycle-less for 10+ years. The Ducati has a 155hp @ 10,750 RPM twin cylinder engine to deliver smooth power on the road and track. I don’t shoot a lot of motorcycles so I was up for a challenge.

After enjoying Cars and Coffee in Steveston on an early Sunday morning, we went off to shoot the bike. The morning was overcast which lent to some cool weather and good lighting without casting harsh shadows. I shot all the photos with my Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 V2 which is becoming one of my favourite lenses to use now. The Ducati is a beautiful bike and there really is no bad angles to shoot from!
